Live Discussion #1 is one of three live discussions required to receive a Direct Support Professional certification in the State of Maine through the College of Direct Support.  The following topics will be included in this live discussion: 

  • Direct Support Professionalism
  • Introduction to Developmental Disabilities
  • Individual Rights and Choices
  • Maltreatment

Students must have completed the online lessons on these topics prior to attending class.
