THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Community Partners is dedicated to quality services for all the people we support. As part of this commitment, we offer ongoing, responsive educational opportunities for all employees to create an environment of continual learning and teaching. All program staff members are required to participate in more than 100 hours of core training for successful completion of their probationary period. Ongoing enrichment training is provided to broaden existing skills, expand professional understanding of advanced topics and meet the evolving support needs of consumers. The Professional Development Program also interacts closely with the Community Partners Education and Research Alliance, an independent professional training and information dissemination resource, to identify and address the educational needs of the professional community.
