Masquerade Ball Details
Historic Location: This year, the Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball will be held at the historic Masonic Temple on Congress Street in Portland. Built in 1911, designed by Frederick A. Thompson, the Masonic Temple is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Guided Tours of the building will be provided the night of the Masquerade Ball.
Festive Meal: Catered Mardi Gras style dinner provided by Portland Pie Company. Hors d'oeuvres served during cocktail hour; Cash bar; Banquet service; Mardi Gras King Cake for dessert.
Carnival: Roaming vaudeville performers, the Dark Follies will perform during the event.
Music: Opening band is Papa Roux, playing rhythm and blues during cocktail hours. One hour break between bands to serve dinner and introduce Community Partners, Inc. Board of Directors and Executive Management Team. The Delta Knights is the rock and roll dance band, playing 9:00 til 11:30 pm.
Silent Auction: Silent Auction is on-going during the evening, featuring donated items, gift certificates and packages. Winners of the Silent Auction announced at 10:00 pm.
Demi Masques: Mardi Gras demi (half) masques provided to guests at the entrance to event. Guests are also welcome to bring their own masques.
